Platho is a messenger that runs without a backend of any kind. There is no server to sign up to, no phone number to give, and nothing to seize: identity and message routing live in TON smart contracts, and every private message is encrypted on your device before it goes anywhere.

Public posts are written to the chain in the clear and cannot be taken down — not by an admin, not by a government, not by their author. A TON wallet is built in, so sending a message and sending value are the same app.

Both the client and the contracts are open source and can be read and verified.
